1. Practical Roadmap for Career in AI

I started my career in this field around 9 years back. A graduate in Electrical Engineering with no formal training in practical coding as well as theoretical knowledge, I would like to admit it was quite struggling to make a career in this field.

Back then when ChatGPT (and like tools) didn’t exist, it was quite difficult to get structured, to-the-point answers as well as have conversation to resolve your doubts and solve problems. I can easily recount countless nights, weekends and holidays to put that additional effort to ensure I am prepared for what this role demands.

At a high level, for people to pursue a career in this field requires only one thing: Attitude of Problem Solving.

This is the crux. I have been there on both sides of the table multiple times, and I feel if you really have that, everything else automatically fall in place.

In this technology, there is always a new breakthrough every other month/year, thus it is quite challenging to stay on top of all the development. At industry level, there are always new type of problems that they want to solve and from academia/research side there are always new protypes/inventions brought to the market.

Thus this space requires continues learning and un-learning, which is also a foundation of problem solving.

I will add detailed plan here.
